The Chinese Mission to ASEAN recently hosted the "2026 ASEAN Media China Tour– Dynamic Guangdong " event, with  over 20 mainstream media representatives and online influencers from ASEAN member states joining in. They visited China Southern Power Grid substations, rural revitalization demonstration sites, robot boulevards, big data centers in three  cities of Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Qingyuan, and attended the opening ceremony of the 2026 Asia-Pacific Digital and Intelligent Economy Sustainable Development Innovation Week.

The event was part of the commemorative celebrations of  the 5th anniversary of the China–ASEAN Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The delegation members showed great enthusiasm along the way, very much enjoyed their interactive experiences and delivered their live coverages all the time. They expressed that the on-site visits gave them an in-depth knowledge of China's innovative industrial development and advanced experiences in rural revitalization, and allowed them to touch the vibrant energy and dynamism of the APEC China Year. Through the visits they further understood the broad prospects for deeper integrated development between China and ASEAN and they looked forward to strengthening  people-to-people exchanges in media and other areas, promoting mutual understanding and friendship among the two peoples, continuously deepening cooperation in emerging fields, so as  to bring more fruitful outcomes under the China–ASEAN Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
