On August 29, 2024, the 14th Initiative for ASEAN Integration (IAI) Task Force-ASEAN Partners Consultation Meeting was held at the ASEAN Secretariat, brought together ambassadors or representatives of ASEAN Member States and its Dialogue Partners. Chargé d'affaires Mr. Fu Fengshan attended and delivered remarks on behalf of the Chinese side.

Fu Fengshan introduced the major initiatives put forward by the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, stressing that China will further deepen reform comprehensively to advance Chinese Modernization, which will bring new opportunities for China-ASEAN all-round cooperation. China always supports ASEAN integration process and community building, and will continue to support the implementation of the IAI Work Plan IV, assisting ASEAN in narrowing its internal development gap.
